[Opinions] Re: Chandler

I don't know what character you mean, so I can't say. But as a rule I don't like surnames used as first names unless there are sound family reasons for it. Also, Chandler is an occupation name like Tyler and Taylor and Hunter etc, so if they are still popular I don't know why Chandler should be the only dated one (but I don't like occupation names either). I also find it silly to name a real person after a flickering character on a screen or some black letters on a white page. A couple of years ago there were enquiries about Greenley - not sure of the spelling - for a girl, and that was a character name apparently, which didn't make it any less silly. Chandler is certainly better than that! If you enjoy it but you're not sure, there's always the mn slot, like Joel Chandler Harris!
