how do you pronounce Jantine in North America? I know it's Dutch so it's probably YAN-tine...but maybe its yawn-TEEN, I don't know.

I'm Dutch, and the name can be pronounced in two ways. yan-TEEN is the most common one, though I've also heard yan-TEEN-(n)uh. :)
The name is sometimes spelled als Jantien, and that spelling is exclusively pronounced as yan-TEEN. :)

I automatically said jan-TEEN, then my brain went "Dutch name, silly", and I immediately self-corrected as yan-TEEN.

I would say Jan-TEEN, but I've never seen the name before.
