To be honest -- at least the way I'm pronouncing it in my head, it sounds like a mispronunciation of Margaret by someone who doesn't distinguish R's and L's.

I prefer Margherita because Margarita is mostly associated with a drink, and Margherita is mostly associated with a pizza to me. I'd rather have the pizza name.
