1. I'm one of the few who really doesn't like this name at all. It's one of the few names I have a visceral reaction to. It just makes me cringe every time I say it. :( I would pronounce both FRAY-yah.
2. I believe it's already common some places in Europe, but probably won't become popular here in the States, but just less obscure.

4. I like the spelling of Freja, but I think Freya would lead to a more intuitive pronunciation.
