[Opinions] Twin girls
My aunt is having twin girls. Her middle name is Nicole, and she decided that she wants one of the girls middle names to be Nicole, and the other to be Nicki. She likes Tiffany Nicole and Lydia Nicki so far, but here is a list of more first names she likes...any suggestions to match them with the middle names?Cynnette
Cinzia
Audrey
Lola
Anna
Valentina
Isabel or Isabella
Cecilia

I must agree with most of the other Posters it would be nicer if she would use Nicole and Nicola or Nicole and Nicolette as middle names or better still as someone else suggested Nicole and Victoria or another family name
Twins have to share so much and giving one a nickname of the others middle name isnt particularly fair to my mind but its her child :)
Tiffany Nicole not my style but flows nicely
Lydia Nicki - Lydia is lovely but I dont like Nickiidea's including a few other middle namesTiffany Victoria and Lydia Nicole
Cecilia Nicole and Lydia Nicolette
Anna Colette and Lola Nicole
Valentina Nicole and Isabelle Nicola
Audrey Nicole and Isabel VictoriaJust a note to say my sister is called Nicola and her daughter is Victoria its a nice theme because very few people see the connection straight away

The idea of wanting both of her girls to have part of her name is sweet but using Nicki for one would not be the best way to do so in my opinion. I wouldn't see anything wrong with both twins having Nicole as a mn, but what about your aunt's mn or the feminine version of her DF's name? Other options: Nicolette, Nicola, Nikoleta, etc. Or what about giving each girl a variant of her name so that one doesn't feel "left out"? From her list I'd pick:
Anna Nicolette
Audrey Nicola
(I'm not one for twins themes such as the one I just created but I like these names the best!)----Betsy-----

Um, Nicki is just a short form of Nicole so to use it for another sibling is very silly imo, like naming sons Anthony and Tony, etc. It's just not right, somehow. And I love Lydia but NOT Tiffany; and Lydia and Tiffany do not sound like sisters at all imo. The others I like on the list are Audrey, Lola, Anna, Isabel and Cecilia. Good luck to your aunt. ETA: An idea for your aunt might be to use the mn's Nicole and Victoria. Victoria because Nicole is the feminine form of Nicholas, which means "victory of the people" and Victoria means "victory". :)

No offense, but that mn thing is a bit tacky. And I agree with Donham, what about Nicola or Nicolette or your aunt's fn instead of Nicki if she must use that theme?I like the fn's except Cinzia and Cinnette.:)

Cinzia is a neat name, I've never heard that. I agree with Donham that Nicki is not good, it is a nn.
What about Nicola, Nicolette, Nicoletta, Nicolina, Nicolasa, or just Nico?

Tiffany Nicole is way too 80's.

Could she use Nicolette or Nicola for mn instead of Nicki? Nicki is a nn! Tiffany is an 80's name, but I like Lydia and Audrey. What about Lydia Nicole and Audrey Nicolette? Or why not give one of the girls Nicole as a mn and the other girl your aunt's fn as a mn? Just a thought.
