[Surname] Great-Grandfather
Yes according to the Death Certificate I have it states the following: Fritz "Fred" Schwiderowski born November 9th, 1867 in Utak, Germany (Prussia). He died December 11, 1928 and is buried at Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA.His Death Certificate stated Parents Unknow and where born Germany/Poland. So my search for about a decade has been trying to locate Fritz's Parents which would be my Great-Great Grandparents. To finally solve the mystery or not! There is so much I can share but do not know where to start. My Grandfather was Charles Erving Schwiderowski/Swederofsky and he was born in Hamburg, Germany on January 4th, 1892. And also his sister Mary was born ca 1894 in Poland/Germany.If anyone can be of assitance this would be greatly appreciate.Yours truly,Doug

Among all the Schwiderowskis listed at http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp, you'll find a Fritz Schwiderowski from Ukta (not Utak) who was born around 1768. He could very well be a remote ancestor of yours. Maybe you could find something useful at http://www.pgsa.org/
