I personnally think this spelling even reinforces this impression, and spoils its sound. I don't like Chanel but I agree it's quite pretty though.

Yes, I'm afraid it does.

Gigi: If your heart is set on this name I think Chanel would be the better choice but just like Vek I'd go with Coco or Gabrielle instead :)
