well the 'ae' in latin (as this is a latinized name) is pronounced as a long 'i', although my middle name (mae) is a walking contradiction of that rule. very pretty name...

This is probably weird and wrong, but I've always thought of it pronounced "FEH-dra."

I always pronounce it as FAY-dra, but I think it's actually supposed to be FEE-dra.
