Was/is Dafydd pretty common in Wales? It seems like there's at least one Dad by that name in all the BAs you post. David is super common, so I suppose it would make sense if Dafydd was.Elen Gwenllian is very sweet, and Sioned Lucy is really really cute! I like Gwion too.My friends have a cat named Elfyn. :)

Dafydd's always been pretty common - even in the 1800s and early 1900s, when far less Welsh names were given to babies in Wales. It's no. 98 in the Welsh top 100 for 2008, and rising.Elfyn is a great name for a cat!
