Morman James? Wow. Wonder how he handled having a name that was spelled almost exactly like the religion.

Double initials seem to have been popular!
Interesting to see Valmae - I posted about it a while back, there were quite a few of them in Wales in the 1920s-30s, spelt Valmai.
Thain is kind of interesting too - a surname, maybe?

I must have missed your post: I know a 65-year-old South African who was going to be Valmae, Valmai or perhaps Valmay but they settled on Valerie instead. And in Afrikaans the letter y is always a vowel and sounds like ay. The head girl at my daughter's school last year was Valmy which looks like a French battlefield to me, but it was pronounced like Valmay. She's by far the youngest example I've ever encountered.

Darcey Iris (spelt Darcy) wasn't she the little girl who was thrown off the bridge last year? Or maybe this person and her have the same first and middle names.

I checked the paper, and they do not have the same ln's. Strange coincidence though, Darcey seems like a younger person's name, so i'm guessing this person was quite young too (there was no d.o.b)
