I hate most nick names as given names but I love Kit. Still, what kind of names would you suggest that could have the nn Kit? I'm asking because my name is a form of Katherine and I don't like the idea of naming someone after myself. I also don't like the name Christopher - it's way too popular and I'm not that crazy about male Biblical names.

Christy, Christina, Kirsty and Kirsten spring to mind. Also, Katinka and Nikita.

The name Kitty maybe. But I'm not a fan of that name, even though I love cats. Or Katia, Katie, or Kaitlyn.

Kit could aslo be a nickname for Christian or Kristian. I like the nickname Kit.
