I have a (second) cousin named Otis- which I think is an old man's name- and he's never been teased about it. Probably because kids don't think of it the way I do- they don't know how "old fashioned" it is. I think Obidiah will do alright- I'm sure he'll get a nickname, besides.

I don't like the fact that their middle names are... pretty much the same. It's ridiculous, but the name isn't awful.

I don't like nicknames as names, either, but Tyler would probably be shortened to Ty anyway.
