[Opinions] Amos & Rufus
What would you rate Amos and what would you rate Rufus? 1-10.Middle name suggestions? They sure do go well with my other favorites of Felix, Jasper, Wilfred and Edwin. It also sort of makes you want to throw in an Oliver for good measure. I think I am moving in this direction.Felix Jude
Jasper Nicholas
Wilfred Oscar
Amos Ludwig
Edwin Silas
Oliver Francis
Rufus BenjaminSigh. I like Amos Benjamin and Rufus Benjamin so much. I think I prefer the Benjamin with Rufus more though. I'm going to honor the Beethoven for now. Sorry, Emma.

perfect for you
Beethoven's the bestYou know! It's funny! This is totally OT and perhaps even slightly TMI but I keep having these half-dreams when I'm falling asleep where I confuse music and sex, and think things like you should be really careful what composers you listen to so you don't mess up your ability to form attachments or something. ??? but yeah no beethoven's all yoursI prefer I think Ludwig with Rufus actually, the three U's used in such different waysLet me see if I can think of something for Amos that might match Rufus Ludwig
Hmmm I like Amos Frederick. yushow's that viola piece goin'

I think the best music for sex *might* be Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe. I especially love the "sunrise" sequence.I have so many pieces going, but I do want to complete something major for viola soon. I have so many little sketches and ideas. I love the viola though. It always makes me see purple. :)I really can't warm to Frederick because of Fred Phelps. I also grew up very close to a town, Frederick, Maryland which was commonly known as "Fredneck," so the association turns me off to it. Alas.

These names are fantastic. I'd give them both a 9. The combos are great too. I love all of your names, only Oliver strikes me as being very 'of the moment. Please do have eight sons!

I'd give Amos 6 and Rufus 7. I like both of them. The set as a whole makes me think of terribly brave WW1-officers who might have written a bit of poetry in their quieter moments in the trenches. I feel Ambrose might fit better there than Amos, but I think Amos might be easier for a real child to live with.(edited to add some combos)Amos Claude
Amos Walter
Amos Clive
Amos Hector
Amos JuliusRufus William
Rufus Mortimer
Rufus Oswald
Rufus Digby
Rufus Harold

I adore Rufus. It's one of those names I would love to see someone else use but wouldn't use myself. Amos is quite nice but something is missing for me to really like it. Overall I think your list of boy names is fabulous and the new additions made it even better.
ETA:
Rufus - 9
Amos - 4
