I like Genevieve, but I would never use it coz it is my fiance's ex's name. Her nn was Gen, I prefer Eve, Eva or Evie as a nn. Other French names I like Antoinette, Renee (prefer Renae), Isabelle.
Hello, For both an unusual and lovely French name, maybe you'd like Bellinda (pronounced Baleenda). I just met the charming French woman who has this unusual name as her parentage is French/Swiss. Although, since I haven't found it on-site under French names and there aren't any listed for Switzerland, perhaps this is one that's more customized or even has Germanic roots? Personally, I love the playfulness of how it sounds, even in French. :)
Try Belinda. :-)

Welcome to the boards! Genevieve is pretty.
My favorite French names are Felicienne and Oceane. I'm sure I like more, but I go more for the name I like no matter it's nationality (with some exceptions, like it clashes miserabely with ln).
