It's one of my favorite boy names. :) I don't mind it on a girl, but I LOVE it on a boy. It is so cute. And handsome. I imagine a boy Robin to be very dashing. Probably because of Robin Hood.
I looove it
for a boy. I think boy Robin is so cute. I tried to recommend it to a friend whose sister is expecting a boy and Robert is a family name. She wrinkled her nose, I don't think she liked it. But I like it.
I've known a couple girl Robins so it's not as wowee cute for a girl name for me.

I do like the name a lot and much prefer it for a male tbh. Lacks a certain spark for a female name I think.
Robin is my favorite name for a boy. Full name. No nickname. Just Robin. Soooo awesome.
The worst boss I ever had (also one of the worst human beings I have ever personally met) was a female Robin, though, so I can only dig Robin as a boy name. Kinda sucks. I hate it when bad associations ruin otherwise good names.

Robin= boy
Robyn= girl
Robyn= girl
I love it, for both genders. The only unisex name that I actually like on a girl!
I like it a lot on a boy. It's one of those names for me that's strong and handsome, but also gentle and kind. It sort of belongs in my kilt-wearing group. I even don't mind it as a full name, which is sort of unusual for me.
For a girl I don't like it, but I don't mind it. It is somewhat pleasantly dated. It makes me think of a blonde hippie wearing a white dress. Probably Robin Wright Penn's fault.

I like it for certain men-Robin Zander of Cheap Trick and Robin Campbell of UB40 come to mind. :)
I also think it's very sweet for a girl because I picture the bird. I love bird names. I would like to see Robin make a comeback.

I love it too, but only for a boy. However you spell it, on a girl it just seems odd. I don't think it's much used as a nn any more: full name all the way!
I like it on a boy. On a girl I find it a bit drab.
I looove it for a boy. I wanted to name my son that, but our last name has a sound that is vaguely similar to Banks... it wouldn't do. =(
I'm okay with it on females. I have a not-that-positive stereotype attached to it from girls/women I've known named Robin, though.
