Charles and Liz are happy to announce the birth of their fourth daughter and fifth child, Kayla! She cries easily, but she is so adorable they cannot help but love her anyway. Colin was hoping for a brother, but luckily he doesn't mind too much. He has made a few friends in school, but Lily remains his best friend. Ava and Robert have grown apart a bit because she is more "popular" than he is, and she hangs out with friends who are in her "clique". Charles is trying to discourage this behaviour, because he suspects bullying though there is no evidence yet. Lily is quiet and introverted, and Colin is one of her only friends. Liz is pushing her to join some extracurricular activities. Emma is a social butterfly, easily befriending half her kindergarten class on the first day of school.
