Even though they had 4 beautiful children, Shoshanna really wanted to try for another girl, and they got her. Leah (pronounced the biblical way, LAY-ah) is after Shoshanna's mother, Lena, as is Jewish tradition anyway (all the other children were named after deceased relatives as well). Sadie is a derivitive of Sarah, which means princess. Shoshanna is glad that the children are old enough to help, as Leah was born with Down Syndrome, but they love her just the same.
