Everyone is doing well. Charles and Liz are very proud of their kids, and surprised but happy to already have a grandchild in their forties. Ava gradually got over the loss of Will, and met Jasper, an unfortunate boy in a similar situation, who fathered a child with his fiancee, only to have her die in childbirth before they got married. She met him when dropping off Phil at kindergarten. (He was dropping off his daughter, Bella.) Colin and Lily had a spectacular double wedding, and both wish for kids. Emma is going out with a nice boy in her grade, Arthur, but they aren't sure if they can keep up a long distance relationship. (He is going to the US for college.) Kayla is the smartest girl in her grade. She is getting top grades, and all her teachers like her. However, she is nowhere near popular. Charles and Emma are still the favorites of Sadie, who is getting very good at catch. They might even put her in a contest!
