[Opinions] Harriette?
What are your thoughts on Harriette? I'm really into it at the moment. I just find it so spunky and no-nonsense.
Also, Harriette or Harriet? Harriette looks more complete to me for some reason but I suspect many of you may find the extra letters superfluous.Favourite Harriette or Harriet combo?

Only if you intend on prn it hair-ee-EHT. Whenever I see a name ending in -ette I assume the emphasis falls on the last syllable and it irritates me when it doesn't.I don't really like either name but Harriette (hair-ee-EHT) sounds more feminine than Harriet so I'l go with the former.

I prefer the simple and elegant Harriet to the more frilly Harriette, which seems a little silly.

I am starting to really like Harriet, which is so out of left field for me. I think i like just-Harriet, but I sometimes like superfluous letters, So Harriette could grow on me. I agreee on the spunky no-nonsense character. It reminds me of Jane in that way - seems so simple and sweet, but you just know her brain could kick your butt. Perhaps rather egotistically I find Harriet Chloe rather charming. :)

I used to like it but I met a horrible Harriet and it put me off the name :( I much prefer Henriette or Henrietta.

I hate when that happens :(Darn those people who ruin names for us! Henrietta is lovely I agree.

Only because they are superfluous! Henriette, fine. Harriet, fine. But not a merger.Harriet needs something playful and lively: I've always enjoyed Harriet Daisy.

I like the name, but only spelled Harriet. I want to pronounce Harriette differently, plus I just don't like the look of it.I also love the nickname Hattie for it.My favorite Harriet combo is Harriet Eloise.
