[Opinions] Re: Masculine or Feminine? (pt.2)
I think it's stupid to use a variant spelling to decide the sex. Just spell it right for Pete's sake!
Taylor - girl
Arden - girl
Brooke - girl
Madison - girl, although there's a guy at my school with this name
Murphy - boy
Morgan - either or
Peyton - girl
Montana - girl. Can't help but thinking of Hannah Montana
Mel - girl. Think of all girls named Melanie
Merle - boy
Carson - boy
Courtney - girl
Dale - boy
Dakota - girl. Can't help but thinking of Dakota Fanning
MacKenzie - girl
Kendall - girl
Kennedy - girl
Lee - either or. Prefer on a boy but have a female family member named after the family surname.
Rae - with that spelling? girl. If spelled Ray it's a boy.
Loren - girl
Darby - girl. I go to school with a Darbie.
Delaney - girl
Lindsey - girl
Sidney - boy. Sydneys are usually girls, and Sidneys boys.
Lane - boy
Jesse - boy
Jaiden - boy. God help me if it's a girl.
Izzy - boy
Haven - girl
Harley - hopefully a boy.
Jordan - boy. I know a Jordy.
Kelsey - girl, even though it shouldn't be that way because of Kelsey Grammar, who is totally awesome.
Kelly - girl. This is my cousin's name, so I can't imagine it on a boy.

I have to agree with you. I hate variant spellings.
