I'm usually not into surnames as fns. But when they honor or remind me of someone great then it's more likely to appeal to me. Irish patriot Robert Emmet used to make me prefer the one "t" spelling. But Emmett Till trumps in my heart and the two "t" spelling wins. I love the sound of Emmett. It's similar to Emeric, which I adore.Emmett John
