Help[Opinions] Horus
I saw this name in a newspaper article, about a family of potters, who work in a very traditional way. And they have one little boy, age about 3, named Horus. An Egyptian god, I believe?

Yes, the one with the head of a falcon, I believe. Very OTT and awkward IMO.

Oh, poor kid. The best he can hope for is having his name accidentally pronounced Horse.

That's awesome! Horus is an Egyptian god- he was the son of Ra (the one with the hawk-head). I've always liked this name, but I shoved it into the GP category when I realizad that it sounded like Horace, which I don't like at all.
