Help[Opinions] Renée
I used to think it was boring and dated but it has grown on me a bit. Plus it has never really been that common. I just know quite a few girls who have it as a middle name (also seen Rene, René and Renee used).
I like Renée or maybe Renee but not René or Rene as they're the masculine spellings.
How would you spell it? Do you know many who have it (first or middle name)?
Dated? Comeback?
It's pretty much seen as a boys name in Germany and a bit 80s at that (many people here don't realize there's a feminine form, I guess).
Would you use it in a country in which it is generally perceived as a male name? Had the same problem with Noah which I love for a girl. Well at least most people would be able to tell she's a girl by the spelling, right?

I like it, my sister's name is spelt Renae.

I think it's really ugly but I just had a dream where a girl made a big deal out of it being her favorite name.

I'd spell it Renee. I know loads of people with it as a FN but none as a MN. It's slightly dated but I wouldn't be startled to see it. I think it's okay to use it in Germany.

This is my name. I've never liked it. I don't like the sound of it and have to resist wincing every time someone says my name.

I like Renee for a mn and only on a girl. We might use it as a mn after my partners mother. I've heard it on boys but never on one born in the US. Its generally considered a girls name here. I've seen the spelling Noa on a girl, which I like. In the US Noah is extremely popular for boys right now.
