Isabel, hands downI love Isabel, whereas I dislike Abigail. The choice is obvious for me.

Isabel. Abigail is heavy-footed, but Isabel sparkles and dances; plus, Abigail never met an enormous bear.

AbigailIsabel is too heavily a pop culture name at the moment. Even though both Isabel and Abigail are fairly common, I like Abigail better.

Easy!Abigail is boring and dated. Not dated as in a grandma name, but as in you should have used it 20 years ago.Isabel is lovely. So that's my choice.

AbigailI'll be out of my mind, and you'll be out of ideas pretty soon, so let's spend the afternoon in a cold hot air balloon...

Isabel, which is my preferred spelling. By far. I'd like it a lot more if it was not a form of Elizabeth, but it is nice.I've always thought Abigail is unattractive. Gail is okay, but I don't like Abigail. There are a lot of Ab- names with stressed short "a," that I don't care for, come to think of it. Maybe all of them.

AbigailI just don't like Isabel as much...however, I fear that an Abigail would be called Abbie, which I really detest.

Isabel. If I were to have a girl, since my cousin's daughter is one of two Abby Ds in the school (the other is in her sister's class, and it confused the teacher when Maddie had to take a packet home for her sister.) Even before she was born, I liked Isabel better.

Isabel, I always thought Abigail wasn't very pretty. Isabel is very common where I live but I'd still rather see Isabel than Abigail being used. The only reason why Abigail became common is because it gives you the nickname Abby, in my opinion. All Abigails I've ever met are called Abby. The full name is actually quite ugly if you ask me. Sorry :/
