Well, it turns out that that Shadow wasn't as detrimental to Kelly's campaign as they worried he might be. Kelly was elected into congress after a very successful campaign. Sloane and Shadow are still together after five years. However, things are better. Shadow moved into the Kearney's house after they learned that his father had kicked him out. Living under their rules, and in an environment where people actually cared about his behavior made a huge difference in Shadow's life. Sloane and Shadow are currently away at college, but spend many of their breaks at home. Last Christmas, Shadow proposed to Sloane, and they are planning on getting married over the summer!
