[Opinions] Job
I'm diggin' Job lately. I usually don't go for biblical names, but this one appeals to me.WDYT? Have you ever met any Jobs?

I like it but I don't really like the meaning :)

Sorry, but no. I can't get past job as in work. And it's not exactly a nice story that's attached to it.

I'm not a fan, even though I know it's wrong I still want to pronounce it like job as in occupation. I do know a super religious family with a baby Job and I honestly feel sorry for the poor kid because I doubt it will be an easy name to grow up with.

I know a Job- the Spanish pronunciation, which is more like Hope than either English pronunciation. It's not my style either.

Bad jujuJob is asking for trouble. Sorry, I'm rarely supersticious. But this one gives me the willies.I like the sound of it. But the association is too strong for me. My limitation, of course.

Not really my favorite - I'm not a huge fan of Biblical names, and I always pronounce it jawb (like the career) when I first read it.

I like it.I just suggested Job in a post below as a sibling for Frank. :-D It's one of those names that I like and forget about but just love for about ten solid minutes after I come across it again. My uncle was almost named Job but they went with Jeffrey instead. I don't know the reasoning but I can see why one might not want it, between the poor terrorized biblical character and how it's spelled the same as "job." Nonetheless I think it's pretty neat.
