Welcome to the first round of La Reina's Royal Congrats!
Unfortunately, I believe I'm not taking any more sign-ups.
Rules:
1. Use names from your own namebanks.
2. If you miss three rounds in a row without notifying me, you shall be removed from the game.
3. No ages, please, unless you want to keep up with my timeline jumps by yourself.
4. There shall be story prompts in this game, and you shall be encouraged, though not obliged, to write them.
5. You must choose at least three names from the namebanks given. More is allowed, but not less. Hyphenating and having a double first name (e.g. Mary Jane) is allowed.
6. Please bold all new additions to your family.
7. Spelling changes are not allowed.

Your Royal family just had their first child. How was their reaction? Was it a surprise pregnancy, or a planned one? If the child is a girl (or a boy, if your kingdom is a matriarchal society), how do the royal family try to keep him/her as a ruler just in case? In case of twins, who gets to be the next in line?

They are all hoping for a boy, someone to carry on the royal family. The king is wide awake watching his wife anxiously who is watching the nurse anxiously who is holding the baby. She swadles the baby in a warm cloth and hands it back to the queen. Arata has waited months for this, and though the baby will be announced to the whole kingdom as a boy later, for now she is content to hold the little prince in her arms.

If male twins are first-born, there might be some unwanted trouble and debate over who really was born first and who is the true heir to the throne. However, females are not allowed to rule in Luxembourg, so this was not a problem. Little Valentina and Natalia will both be titled Crown Princesses of Luxembourg and Princesses of Nassau. Their parents Felix and Cateline wanted children and stopped using contraception, but were in no rush to have them. If they have no male children, Felix’s younger brother will inherit the throne.
There was a slight scare during the pregnancy, as it was difficult with lots of morning sickness and bleeding. Cateline was put on bedrest from her 30th week on but the twins were born two and half weeks early via C-section. However, Cateline was productive those few weeks, designing and organizing the nursery.

Seen as very fortuitous in Francylvanian customs, the birth of twins is an occasion for great celebration. In the case of royal twins, especially as first borns, said celebrations are held all across the land, parties and festivals cropping up all through the cities and countryside as courtiers arrive at the castle Carimonde in droves to offer gifts and pay respects.
Thelonius and Damaris are very pleased with their beautiful son and daughter. After a somewhat rocky start to their arranged marriage, the king and queen saw the unplanned pregnancy as a veritable miracle; a surprise double miracle at the birth was like a sign that the two were meant to be. Hopefully the king and queen still feel the same way when it's time to choose which of their first borns will inherit the kingdom...

Some say that she was pregnant before marriage, and that it was the reason they were married in first place. Others simply say that she was lucky.
Nine months elapsed, and a son was born to the couple. The child was named Arthur Michael Armand Hewitt. The birth of a male heir to Diana brough jubilation to King Arsene, and even more so to Queen Eleanora.
