[Facts] Name books
I'm wondering about reliable name books. I'm trying to create a list of the most complete, trustworthy and authoritative books about first names for every language (not the kind of books that gives you the most stylish supercute names for your children from all over the globe). This is my first sketch:
-ENGLISH
1)A dictionary of first names. - Patrick Hanks, Hardcastle Kate
-GERMAN
1)Duden, das grosse Vornamenlexikon.
2)Historisches Deutsches Vornamenbuch. - Wilfried Seibicke
-FRENCH
1)Tous les prénoms français et régionaux. - Jean-Maurice Barbé
-ITALIAN
1)I nomi di persona in Italia. Dizionario storico ed etimologico. – Alda Rossebastiano, Elena Papa
2)Dizionario dei nomi italiani. - Emidio de Felice
-SPANISH
1)Diccionario de nombres de personas. - Jose Maria Albaiges Olivart
-SATERLAND FRISIAN
1)Ostfriesische Vornamen von A bis Z. - Tammena Manno P.
Every advice in every language will be appreciated!
For example: Dutch, West Frisian, Scandinavian languages, Icelandic, Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovene, Serbocroatian, Bulgarian, Albanian, Greek, Latin, Romanian, Walloon, Romansh, Friulan, Ladin, Portuguese, Catalan, Galician, Basque, Maltese, Irish, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, Cornish, Hungarian, Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean...

I pick up name dictionaries as souvenirs when I travel. I thought the Voornamen book from the publisher Prisma looked pretty good for Dutch. I found a good-looking Swedish one but it was incredibly expensive so I had to settle for a less-good one; I will look around to see if I wrote down the name of the better one.
Great idea!
