[Opinions] Milton
I have no idea but I have suddenly fallen in love with Milton. I love the sound of it and it's just so quirky cool. Opinions? Thoughts? To Berle?

I like it. I have a second cousin Milton. Goes by Milt. Suits him so well.

I don't like it because of "The World According to Garp."In the book, there is a college student named Michael Milton who seduces his English professor, who happens to be the wife of the main character, Garp. When Garp finds out, he makes fun of his name, saying that 'Michael Milton' sounds like the name of a bad ice cream flavor. Since I read the book when I was fairly young, the image stuck with me, so I have a hard time taking Milton seriously. The odd thing is, I have a great-uncle named Milton, and even he can't change the image for me. We call him Milt.

Milton was a famous horse when I was little so that's what I think of when I hear it. But I love horses so it's not necessarily a bad thing. Milton is also quite popular in Sweden (#76 last year) and your words "quirky cool" describes it pretty well. I imagine that parents who use it are young professionals who want to be different but not too different.
