I think it's important to honor one's family, so I personally side with the husband's family. "Like and old man?" She can always call him Cal, like Julian Casablancas of the Strokes just named her son.
Although I suppose Christian Calvin sounds okay...
You should tell your cousin to ask if she can make some sort of compromise, like she chooses one name and her husband can choose Calvin.
