[Opinions] Remy
Two questions:1. Do you think Remy could work on either gender? (I know it's masculine, and usually I dislike boys names on girls. However, I was going through the 2009 most popular list for inspiration, and Remy stood out to me - 130 girls were named Remy last year!)2. How do you pronounce it?

1. In my opinion, no. I try to imagine on a girl, but I get nothing. I'm really picky about boy names on girls, though.2. I pronounce it as Reh-mee .

I LOVE this name, it's a fave of mine! I definitely only like it for a boy though. I know here in Oz people use it for a girl too, but I don't think it's girly at all. It's just such a nice male name, that it's a shame to cross it over to the girls! I pronounce it as REM-ee.

It's all boy to me, and I don't like it on a girl.I pronounce it REM-ee, even though I know it's not technically correct.

Yeah, Remy is very unisex to me. I actually think it sounds verynerdy on boys so I wouldn't mind hearing it on a girl.I prn it REHM-ee.

The only one I know is a guy so it's a man's name for me. I can't remember if he spells it Rémy or Rémi though. I say Reh-mee which is how he says it - he is French but lives in Ireland.

Remy is all boy to me. I think I prefer it spelt Rémy but it's really nice either way. It's on my PNL and Remington nn Rémy is a gp of mine.I pronounce it reh-mee, just like Remington without the -ngton. I think the ray-mee pronunciation is terrible. Since it's originally French I would pronounce it more like reh-MEE in French but in English I say reh-mee.

Remy is completely masculine for me. Although girls have been names this I really don't like it on a girl.I pronounce it ray-MEE but I used to pronounce it REM-ee. I think ray-MEE sounds nicer.
