Name: Isobel Maeve, 30
Description: tall, weedy, pale skin with red hair and green eyes.
Undergrad: University of Washington at St. Louis, pre-med
Med School: University of Washington, Seattle
Husband: Hayden Silas, 32
Car: Charger
House: A cozy cottage on the outskirts of town.
Year 1: 2010-2011
For their honeymoon, Hayden and Isobel take a week long trip to New York City. They go see all of the touristy sites like the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty, but also travel off of the beaten path and eat at little cafes in the Village and go to a salsa bar on Canal Street.
Year 2: 2011-2012
For their one-year anniversary, Hayden and Isobel take another trip to Jamaica. They spend a romantic 5 days there in a beautiful hotel right by the beach, taking in the sun and surf. They also eat at wonderful restaurants (Isobel is so impressed by the jerk chicken at a well-known local restaurant that she asks for the recip).
Year 3: 2012-2013
That Christmas, Isobel and Hayden travel to Maine to spend the holidays with Isobel's parents. They have a wonderful time reconnecting with Isobel's family and playing with their nieces and nephews. Isobel in particular enjoys going back to her childhood winter home: she missed the New England winters.
Year 4: 2013-2014
The next Thanksgiving, they visit Hayden's relatives in Chicago. Hayden loves taking his wife around his old stomping grounds in the Windy City: they eat deep-dish pizza and visit the Art Institute. Isobel gets very close with Hayden's mother, who thinks they don't visit enough.
Year 5: 2014-2015
Never ones to turn up a chance to *travel*, Hayden and Isobel spend the next Christmas in Boston with Hayden's old college friends. The couple has a grand old time visiting the historic sites, as well as hanging out in Boston's many Irish pubs and having good conversation.
Year 6: 2015-2016
After another particularly rainy Seattle winter, as a surprise for her birthday, Hayden whisks Isobel away to the Bahamas. They spend a very relaxing long weekend there sunning and swimming.
Year 7: 2016-2017
For their annual winter vacation, Hayden and Isobel this time head to Aruba for more fun in the sun. Isobel particularly enjoys horseback riding on the beach.
Year 8: 2017-2018
The 8th year of marriage is a sad one for Hayden and Isobel: their beloved dog Daisy accidentally gets out and is hit by a car. Both of them are devastated. When Hayden gets word a few months later that one of his friends' Yorkies had puppies, he convinces Isobel to just look at them, which she reluctantly agrees to. One tiny, friendly puppy takes a shine to Isobel, and Isobel is torn between her connection with the puppy and the guilt about replacing Daisy. However, she learns from the breeder that the puppies were born on Daisy's birthday. Taking this as a sign, they adopt the yorkie puppy, naming her Poppy.
Year 9: 2018-2019
Since the beginning of their marriage, Hayden and Isobel had been trying to get pregnant with no success. After their 4th round of expensive IVF, Isobel finally gets pregnant! She is elated, but completely miserable: she throws up every hour of the day, is so exhausted she can barely get out of bed, and seems to be showing much earlier than she should. All this makes sense, however, when she is told she's having fraternal triplets! When she finds out that all three of her triplets are boys, Isobel is a bit disappointed, but she gets over it quickly in her anticipation to be a mother. On May 25th, 2019, almost two months early, Nathaniel Hector, Gabriel Edmond, and Byron Gaspard are born. They spend a few weeks in the NICU, but none of them are found to have lasting damage and are happy, healthy babies. Nathaniel and Gabriel have dark hair like their father--Nathaniel has brown eyes like Hayden, and Gabriel's are green like Isobel. Byron gets his red hair from Isobel and his brown eyes from Hayden.
Year 10: 2019-2020
Hayden and Isobel celebrate their 10-year anniversary by going back to New York City. What would have been a breeze for the couple back in their pre-child, travelling days was now a logistical event with three baby boys. Isobel's mother and sister graciously offer to babysit the boys while Hayden and Isobel stroll down 5th Avenue, hand in hand, completely content with their life.
