[Opinions] Re: Torarin

History, background, gender, any information at all?
Right now it appears to be a random collection of sounds that don't appeal to me. The "r's" are too close together to say easily. I can't tell what gender it's supposed to be.
Unless you give me more to go on than this, I have to say, "Thanks but no thanks."

Ditto.
It just seems so random.

Sorry...
It's male and Norwegian. I'm not entirely sure how to pronounce it but I think it's something like "TOR-a-rin".

OK
No big deal. :-)
It's good that you put the pronunciation because I was placing it on the second syllable. Putting it on the first makes it easier to say.
Now that you say it's Norwegian, I'm getting a cool thunder god / Thor vibe. Associations are everything for me.
I think there are better Thor names out there, like Torquil or Thorvald / Torvald. But I'm still glad you introduced me to the name. :-)
