Two years have passed for the Athenopolis family! Brighid has gotten married and she and her husband are expecting a daughter; Deirdre has been dating one of her professors and is now pregnant with boy/girl twins!

Brighid got married to one of Ciaran’s childhood friends that she always had a crush on. After a whirlwind romance, they eloped to Vegas. Brighid’s husband’s first name is a place name, his middle name is a color, and his surname is French. Brighid, who thinks her parents were crazy for not taking advantage of all the great Greek names out there, wants to give her daughter a Greek name. Her husband has agreed, so long as their daughter’s name sounds good with their French surname.

Deirdre, as I said earlier, has been dating one of her professors (and getting excellent grades) and, on the eve of graduation, found out she was pregnant! When she told her boyfriend/professor, he was elated! He immediately asked her to marry him; she agreed. Her fiancé has a very old-fashioned name and his surname ends in –ton. As for their twins, since Deirdre’s fiancé is a III, they’ve decided to carry on the tradition and name their son a IV, but Deirdre is insisting that their son go by something other than her fiancé’s first name. For their daughter, they’d like her name to be mythological.
