[Facts] fem. name JENICA
I am pretty sure it's a form of Joan or the fem. form of John - but in what language? I heard it in Germany, but all her siblings have names that are not German (like Jadzia, which of course is of German origin).

I know two girls named Jenica and one named Jennica. The two Jenicas got their name because their parents weren't able to decide between Jessica and Jennifer. Jennica got her name because her parents loved Jennifer but thought it was too common. They all thought they made it up but it seems to be made up quite often. All were born in the 80s.
I doubt it has anything to do with Joan. It's Jessica + Jennifer = Jenica.

Jadzia is not of German origin. Maybe you were trying to say in parentheses that it is not of German origin rather than it is.
You are right: I should have said, of Germanic origin
I don't know if this is relevant, but in Romanian Jenica is a diminutive of Eugenia. It's mostly used as a pet name but I have heard it used as a name on its own too.
