Five years have passed for the Athenopolis family! Ciaran and Mercy have had another son; Brighid and Nile have had another son, as well; Deirdre and Walt are also expecting another son; and George and Leah are expecting a daughter. Also, Sabrina has passed away.

Ciaran and Mercy’s son’s first name was chosen because it was “normal,” since Ciaran always hated explaining how to say his name and his siblings’ names. Their son’s middle name is Russian.

Brighid and Nile’s son’s first and middle names are Greek names that sound good with their French surname.

After Geno and Iris were born, Deirdre and Walt decided to wait a while before they had more children (after all, Walt is not a young man, and it’s a lot of work keeping up with twins). Now, though, they are expecting another little boy and couldn’t be more thrilled! They like old-fashioned boys’ names.

George and Leah are expecting a daughter. Since it is a Jewish tradition to name children after those who have died, they’d like to name their daughter after Sabrina, but with Jewish/Hebrew names.

Seven years have passed for the Jones family! Marius and Ruby have had two more children, Nell has gotten married, and Mack and Raine have gotten two more dogs.

After Deacon was born, Marius and Ruby got married; Ruby wanted to keep her maiden name and their children to keep their hyphenated surnames. Marius and Ruby’s son’s first name is an occupation; his middle name is the surname of a United States president. Their daughter’s first name is a gemstone and her middle name means ‘daughter,’ in some way.

Nell met Ruby’s younger brother at Marius and Ruby’s wedding and they hit it off right away. It wasn’t long, in fact, before their respective families were gathered once more to celebrate their own wedding. Nell’s husband’s first name isn’t very masculine, but his nickname is. His middle name has a double letter (for example, William).

Mack and Raine’s dog Tarzan died after living to the ripe old age of 18 years. Since the house felt empty without him, they decided to get two new dogs. They allowed Sawyer and Deacon to name the dogs. The grandsons decided to name their dogs after their favorite Disney characters, like their father did in naming Tarzan. Sawyer is drawn to the sidekick characters; Deacon is a fan of the Disney/Pixar films.

Ralph, Jr. has loved Hester from the moment he set eyes on her. The only thing keeping him from pursuing her was that she was his step-sister, but he was unable to keep himself away. They kept their relationship a secret from their families for a while, but when Hazel discovered them kissing at a family event, they couldn’t keep it under-wraps for much longer. Both Charlie and Abigail were quite surprised, but since there was no blood relation between Hester and Ralph, Jr., they gave the couple their blessing.
