[Opinions] Amelia/Millie
I totally forgot to mention this until now. I told my grandmother about the name dream I had where my friend named her baby Henrietta Lenore "Hettie". My grandmother said "I hope she's not really going to name her that because it sounds old". I told her that my friend wants to name a future daughter Amelia "Millie" because her name is Amy and it would honor herself. Her response was "Amelia and Millie both sound old too". I told her that "old" names are making a comeback.

I love Amelia nn Milly, or just Millie on it's own as a full name.

I like Amelia, I don't really like Millie. I prefer Emilia.

I like Amelia/Millie. I do think they sound a little "old," but they also sound cute (if that helps to even it out a little ...) Plus, Amelia Earhart is a nice role model.Henrietta Lenore I'm not as fond of, but Hettie is cute. The baby might get Henry as a nn instead, though. The names do flow well together, and Lenore has a lot of cool literary references. But I'm still not sure I could give a baby the name.

I don't know...I think more classic names are in vogue, not "old" names. Names like Elizabeth, Olivia, and Sophia. Hettie and Millie sound dated, so I'll have to agree with your grandmother.

Henrietta Lenore is fantastic. I like Amelia and Millie, I agree that old fashioned names are making a comback.
