[Opinions] Rhett
What do you think of it? What combos do you like? Do you like Everett with nn Rhett? Do you prefer Rhys? Or Reid?

I prefer Rhys because Rhett is too Butler for me. There are too many little Scarletts running around!

I love Rhett but not as a nn for Everett.
I like Rhys but I dislike Reid.

I prefer Rhys and/or Reid to Rhett as full names, because Rhett feels incomplete to me. But the best of all worlds would be Everett with nn Rett, as far as I'm concerned.

Rhett is so cool. It's one of those names that I forget how awesome I think it is until someone else brings it up. :-D For combos I'd pair it with something nice and manly, like:Rhett John
Rhett Richard (I love double R's)
Rhett Charles
Rhett Aaron
Rhett Monroe (I love Monroe; I wish it was significant to me in some fashion as a surname to justify me using it!)
Rhett Terence
Rhett Stephen
Rhett Cedric
Rhett Lorne
Rhett Malcolm
Rhett Gerard (love this)I've never been a fan of Everett. I feel about it like I do Henry, Elliott, and Oliver--I just cannot see how people find them to be attractive names. They're just so dumpy or empty or something that gets in the way of me wrapping my mind around their potential. I don't get the appeal, really. More power to people if they like them; I just can't, I guess. I like Reid very much. It's one of my "second string" sort of names. I'll suggest it or use it in a game but it never makes it into my own favorite combos. It's very nice, though. A little preppy, but I enjoy it.

Honestly, I think Rhett is ugly. I like Reid, and I sort of like Rhys (the only reason I don't like Rhys is because of Reese/Reece). I prefer Everett with no nn, or with nn Ever or something. Or Rett, even.

only makes me think of the syndromebut I'm a syndrome nerd, if there's such thing...

Glad I'm not the only one!I've looked up way too many syndromes for my own good. The name Rhett itself, aside from being associated with the syndrome, is kind of ugly and abrupt.

I love Rhys and Reid, but not Rhett. It's too close to "retch," so that's the first thing I think of when I hear it. Sorry. :-/

I love Rhett! I greatly prefer it over Rhys or Reid. I like Everett too.

Inevitably, it reminds me of Rhett Butler/Clark Gable, which is certainly not a bad thing. Rhett Butler was hot. I think it can stand alone, and it doesn't need to be short for Everett.

I love this name! It has the amazing Gone With the Wind feel.

Rhett makes me think of Gone With the Wind, not something I'd personally want to associate with my kid but if you like both Everett and Rhett it works fine. I prefer Rhys and Reid but Rhys only as a middle name.

I like Rhett and I think it can stand on its own. Not a fan of Everett or Rhys. Reid I love as a middle name.
