Help[Opinions] Alexandria
What do you think of Alexandria for a girl? Do you happen to know if it was a given name for women before the city was named? Just wondering.
Do you think it's too long to be used on its own? I prefer it without a nickname. Would you tend to shorten it?
I despise Alex do you think it's avoidable? Instead I could live with Ali which I find quite cute and maybe Lexie even though I dislike how it reminds me of "sexy".
What is your favorite nickname for Alexandria?
Too common? It was in the top 100 for some time which surprises me a bit.
Will it drown in a sea of Alexandras, Alexas and Alexis'? Alexander and Alex are out there as well. Will people always think she was named Alexandra? Will people confuse it when they see it written down? It reminds me of all the Chris-names somehow, many of them were common so even if you were named the uncommon Christiana or Christabelle I think you would get confused with Christinas and Kristens all of the time. Do you think it would happen with Alexandria?
