[Opinions] Stellan
This has recently popped up on my radar again. I knew a little boy with the name and liked it then. I still like it, quite a lot. I think it's a really underrated, underused name. Opinions? I'm liking Stellan Nicholas.

Stellan makes me laugh. It makes me think of Stellan Skarsgård and some guy who was in Gladiators (television). But the very first thing that comes to mind is "sleazy". I tihnk it is a sleazy name and I just can't stand the name. Thank God it is unusual =P

Sorry, but Stellan is too trendy for me.Also, it sounds too much like Stella.I don't care for Stellan Nicholas because I don't care for names that run together (Stellanicholas).

Trendy?I've never heard it before, besides a young boy 15 years ago.

Popular = no, trendy = yes-an / -en / -yn / -on, etc = trendy sound-El- is also a pretty trendy sound on both genders.
Still a neat name though.

Darn. I was hoping it was different enough.Alas, though - I have long ago learned that if I like a name, it tends to be trendy.

I really like Stellan and Stellan Nicholas is a nice combo.
I think Stellan is certainly underused and rather unappreciated.
It's time someone else use it and love it.

I don't mind Stellan. It is a little 'pretty' for my taste in boys names but I'd like to see it on someone else's kid. Stellen Nicholas is a handsome combo (I adore Nicholas) but the Ns run into each other a bit.
