I like it as a gp, and the namesake is awesome, but it's too pretentious to use in real life. Though it could perhaps make a suitable mn.

I love Amadeus and Amedee. Some people might think it is over the top, but I don't. I am so used to the name by now.

I really like the name's history and meaning, including its association with the (admittedly kooky) Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We have a lot of German and Austrian background, with some French on my side of the family. The name seems to fit.

I like it mostly for the Mozart connection. Although it does have a more sophisticated feel than Mozart himself lends to it. I like the combo Jens Amadeus.

I love Amadeo and especially Amedeo. Amadeus is charming too, though.
