Please welcome to your family identical twins Martin Jovan and Goran Augustin and their sister Mila Veronika.
Martin and Goran are 4 years old and Mila is 3. Their Serbian parents already have five older children and can barely afford to take care of that many, so shortly after Mila's birth the three youngest children were abandoned. They were discovered and taken to the Serbian Orthodox Christian Church, and they have been raised as Christians.
The children like to swim, finger paint, play outside, read, dance, and talk. Martin is very outgoing while Goran is the opposite and very shy. They usually play with the same children. They love Mila and are very close to her. The church refused to separate the siblings and looked for an adopting family willing to adopt all three. Mila is very sweet and she loves dogs.
Please keep the agency updated on how Martin, Goran, and Mila adjust!
Two years ago, the whole family was so excited to go and get our newest members. We all traveled to Serbia during the summer, as Lily and Samantha wouldn't hear of being left behind and wated to meet their new brothers and sister as soon as possible. We met Martin, Goran, and Mila and we all instantly fell in love with them. The children took longer to warm to us, as they all three had issues trusting adults after their parents abandoned them, but after a few months they came to trust all of us and love us. We're now all very close.
Martin and Goran are now entering the first grade. Their English has improved dramatically and they are now out of English-as-a-second-language classes. Martin and Goran both have made quite a lot of friends. We have gotten Martin into sports as a way to channel his energy, and he is doing very well on his T-ball team. Goran showed an instant interest in violin playing, and I began to teach him. Mila has also shown a marked interest in music, and Lily has been teaching her piano. Mila loves to play with her older sisters, and they both love to play with her. She is more of a daddy's girl, and she loves to follow Quinn around and is always asking him about the plans he is working on. She is in kindergarten now, and as a sweet, bright, bubbly little girl she is quite popular with her teacher and class. Our three wonderful children have fit right into our hearts, and we are so grateful to you for making them part of our family.
