Yes! They do seem very proper! Some seem weird though, like
Ned
and one other one I can't think of. Those seem totally nicknamish to me, not enough of a name to stand alone, and weird because
Ned
is so unattractive to my ears.

I think of
Ned
Kelly
and when I think of that, I think of
Heath
Ledger...poor me (not offending anyone who likes him).
