1. I like it. I don't quite like it enough to use myself, but if I ever met one I would be very happy :P
2. I prefer the look of Emanuel, but if I heard it I would probably assume it was Emmanuel.
3. I wouldn't... I could see Manny, Emi, or Manuel, but I don't like any of those. Well, Manuel is okay, but it looks too much like the word 'manual'.
