Help[Games] PandoraPandora's Other Family Members Congrats Round 1
Round one of my congrats! In this round, the rule is:
The child's fn must have a color-related meaning.
For those of you who got a DP (pet), also choose the pets species. As always, you are recommended to write about your family.
Rules:
- If you know you are going to have to miss a round, notify me and you will still get the family members from that round.
- If you don't warn me, you can still keep playing but you don't get the family members for that round.
- I will not only be adding children! Depending on who you are and what I feel like doing, you could get a pet, a grandparent moving in, or whatever.
- You can create any family you want: same-sex, polygamist, whatever.
- If you would like, you can write a little bit about the family in your post. It makes it more interesting :)
- For each round there will be one rule everyone must follow (ex. choose from this name bank) and one personal rule (ex. John Doe must name their DD an American name).

The Tyler family has gained a new family member after 3 months of marriage--not a baby but Grandpa Blake! Blake Byron Joelson is George's stepfather. George's dad, Christopher, died quite young at 60. His mom Augusta (known as Gusty) had remarried to a widower 10 years older than her, and remained faithful in caring him even though he began to experience the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease only a year later, and soon had trouble remembering her name, alternately calling her Alice (the name of his first wife) and asking who she was. Gusty believed marriage was for life, though--even a second marriage to a broken man--and she cared for him the rest of her life, but succumbed to a heart attack at only 64. Grandpa Blake was still a very healthy man in body, if not in mind. In his mother's memory, George insisted on taking in the old man. They hired a nurse, but it was still a big change and a strain on their family. Blake's only child pays for the nurse, but wasn't willing to take him in--just to pay for a nursing home. Grandpa Blake doesn't recognize George or Keen and is perpetually confused as to where he is and why. However, he is generally kind to them and loves his stepson's cooking, endearing him to George further. Keen discovers Grandpa Blake's love of card games and soon their nightly game session helps her bond with Grandpa Blake as well. Grandpa Blake's lack of short term memory is an impediment, but he enjoys the game anyway and always insists at the beginning that he almost always wins. Grandpa Blake is 74.

(I am going to write as if I am emailing my friend, Milli, hope that is ok)
Hey darl, how's the family?
We have a new addition to the household but it is something you totally wouldn't expect.
Paul went out with some mates last night and they saw a bunch of kids throwing something around. They then heard a huge meow and realised they were throwing around a kitten.
Now you know how Paul says he hates cats well he rescued the little girl and took her straight to an emergency vet.
I was bawling the whole time he was telling me the story.
Anyway he said there is no way he could give the little girl up so he wants to keep her. My big strong man is such a softy lol.
So she has to stay at the vet until atleast tomorrow to make sure she is ok but then we can bring her home.
Oh yeah I guess you wanna know what we have decided to call her, Viola Jian. Yes me being the namenerd that I am just had to give her a middle name lol. Jian actually means strong and healthy which I think she is.
Ok I will leave it hear for now, just wanted to share our exciting news with you.
