Year 1- We traveled to Guam and saw an orphanage there. It was so sad. We decided to adopt a set of triplets that have been there since birth; two girls and a boy. Alula Camarin, Raina Tasi, and Pedro Rai are 13 and had given up hope of being adopted because they were too old and because they wouldn’t split up. We decided they needed a good home and brought them back with us.
Year 2 – This year we had our first biological child; a baby girl. She has brown wavy hair and blue eyes. She was born on Valentine’s Day. We named her Sophia Raine.
Year 3 – This year we added a little boy to our family. With his straight black hair and blue eyes he looks just like me! Unfortunately he was born premature and had to spend a month in the hospital until his lungs fully developed and he put on enough weight. Caleb Roy was born on October 15th.
Year 4 – A year of babies we added another set of triplets to the bunch. Abel Wallace has black wavy hair and green eyes. Caroline Monet has blonde curls and green eyes. Jesse Michael has straight brown hair and blue eyes. They were born on Christmas day.
Year 5 – We took a family trip to Amazonia National Park.
Year 6 – We bought a golden retriever puppy named Lola.
Year 7 – We received a large inheritance from an uncle of Les’. We bought a bigger house and set up college funds for the younger children and used the rest for Lula, Raina, and Pedro to continue their college education.
Year 8 – Les took a part-time job as a mechanic after office hours to help a friend who is starting his own business.
Year 9 – I have cut back my time at the office and have been coming in a few ties a week to consult with my company but I have been spending more time with my kids.
Year 10 – We are so blessed. We had the shock of our lives with another set of triplets. They were born on my birthday. Drake Donatello has black curls and blue eyes. Alexandra Rose has wavy red hair and brown eyes. Dallas Grant has black curls like Drake but he has brown eyes like Alex.
Year 11 – Unfortunately our friend’s business is not doing so well and Les has been laid off from his mechanic job.
Year 12 – We adopted a boy from Mexico. He is 3 years old and named Carlos Diego. He was shy at first but now he fits right in.
Year 13 – Shortly after we got back from Mexico to get Carlos I found I was pregnant again. We welcomed another son this year. He has straight red hair and brown eyes. Memphis John “Jack” is such a joy for our whole family.
Year 14 – On a trip to the Dominican Republic we visited another orphanage. We should have learned the last time but we can’t come home without a child. We brought home a 10 year old girl. Staisy Martine is very excited to be in a family with a bunch of brothers and sisters.
Year 15 – This year I started a new line of maternity wear. It is fashionable yet comfortable and is available in “Carrying Multiples” sizes.
