[Opinions] Jerome
I'm really crushing on Jerome at the moment, a name whose suaveness makes my knees buckle. Also, the prospect of using Rome / Romy as a nickname exhilarates me. Thoughts?

Jerome...uncommon yet simple, classic, and you are right that Rome and Romy make amazing nicknames. I think Jerome Antony is brilliant!
Oh, yes, Romy as a nickname, I love it. Not too fond of Rome though. Jerome itself is a pretty nice name, I'm not sure I really like the way it sounds. I also prefer to spell it Jérôme. Jerome Etienne (Jérôme Étienne!) is a very nice combo and I like the French feel but I think Jerome Constantine is my favorite from your list of combos.
I never thought about using Romy as a nn for Jerome. If parents of little girls can pinch boy names as nns, then turn-about is fair play. Jerome, nn Romy, is fun.
I love the calm / coolness of Jerome. But I admit I love the quirkiness of Hieronymus more. My favorites from your smorgasbord:
Jerome Cecil
Jerome Francis
Jerome Leslie (take that, gender thieves)
Jerome Oscar (makes me feel all Jerome Kern-ish)
Jerome Wallace
:-D
