[Opinions] Thoughts on Halvard?
I kind of like Halvard lately, but I'm not completely sold on it - since I have synaesthesia it smells faintly like potato chips that have been sitting in a bag too long, and on top of that it seems like an old guy name - and I was wondering what you all thought of it.

Being an "old guy name" is a plus in my book. :-)I like it. It's fun. If it's too 'out there' for the child as he ages, the obvious nn Hal is right there to easily transition into. At least you can be sure that no parents of little girls will start to use it . . . wait. That's never a sure bet. Well, as close as you can be sure that no parents of little girls will start to use it. :-)
