[Opinions] Trevelyan
I just saw a BA somewhere else of Trevellyan Peter. Extra L aside, I was totally excited to see it! And I think it's a great combo. I've never put a ton of thought into Trevelyan, although I have noticed it before. It makes me think of a quiet young man who has a secret thirst for adventure. Like I can picture him following Sherlock Holmes and Watson around for sure. That makes me think it could be paired with something stuffy but fun. Like...
Trevelyan Barnaby
Trevelyan Meriwether
Trevelyan Alfred
Trevelyan QuincySo what do you think of it? Do you like any of those combos or do you have other ideas?

Lol it makes me think of Alec Trevelyan from the James Bond film GoldenEye. We also had the Nintendo 64 game GoldenEye 007 and Trevelyan was a character in the game as well so I find it really hard to separate from the traitorous bad guy :-pTrevelyan Barnaby is cute. Barnaby is such a cuddly teddy bear of a name that it softens Trevelyan for me.How about:
Trevelyan Xavier
Trevelyan Robert
Trevelyan Bernard
Trevelyan Edward

I kinda like it, but on the same time I get this weird nausea feeling because it also makes me think of Dr. Peter Teleborian from the Swedish Millennium Trilogy and believe me, he is not a nice man. At all. Barnaby is kinda neet at a MN. Maybe these would work too?Trevelyan Alexander
Trevelyan Francis
Trevelyan Memphis
Trevelyan Harold
Trevelyan Jaden
Trevelyan Wilfred
Trevelyan Neville
Trevelyan Dexter
Trevelyan Carl

Trevelyan Dexter was one I had a fleeting thought of. It's nice, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for character-wise.Oh, Trevelyan Francis I overlooked! But I pretty much love anything if Francis is the mn. :)

I like Trevelyan Charles a lot. It makes him sound like such a good boy, this secretly adventurous fellow, the same way Trevelyan Peter does.

Ooh, Trevelyan Sidney fits the part quite well!

That is pretty much awesome. It's a very strong name that you rarely hear, and it offers nn possibilities if you're not up to having the rare name/want something shorter. It makes me think of Treville from in The Three Musketeers, which is a pretty neat association.I like Trevelyan Alfred and Trevelyan Meriwether, though the latter is too long for my tastes.Hm... maybeTrevelyan Alec
Trevelyan August
Trevelyan Felix
Trevelyan Heath
Trevelyan Somerled

Like Mireio I've only ever seen it as a surname, but as surname-names go, it's quite handsome. And the combos are great fun.

Half of my family live in Cornwall so I see Trevelyan quite often as a last name :)I'd never really thought about it as a given name before but it is quite nice, I think I'd prefer it as a middle name, something like James Trevelyan or Peter Trevelyan.

Not so mad about Trevelyan myself. I do like Trevelyan Meriwether though. :)

I like it; it's romantic and dashing, but still a bit nerdy. The perfect combination. :)

It has a nice sound...but it's aesthetics leave something to be desired for me, personally. I think Trevelyan Quincy is great combo, however.
