They considered Adam, Adrian, or Aaron, but ultimately decided that Adam sounded best with their last name. They considered using one of the other names as a middle name, and also Damian or Reginald. They had settled on Damian but weren't sure of their choice when someone on a baby name board suggested Clement. It ended up being their final choice.Hart and Yvette liked three names--Sebastian, Montgomery, and Vincent. They decided that Vincent was the best choice to connect Alexander and Zed a bit more, and that Sebastian didn't sound great with their last name. Vincent Montgomery is a handsome name, if a big one for a 4-pound preemie to grow into! Yvette thought Vin made a handsome nickname for their tiny little man.Keats and Grace are now married with two kids born 11 months apart. They had trouble agreeing on names, as Keats didn't want his children to have a "weird" name like his, and Grace didn't want them to have a "boring" name like hers. Grace liked Ivory, Vivian, or maybe Coral. Keats liked Crystal, Julia, or Daisy. They each picked their favorite name from the other list--Daisy and Vivian--and together decided that Daisy Vivian Alexander sounded best. A name for their son proved more problematic. Grace liked Forrest, River, or Titus; Keats liked Benjamin, Dominic, or Oliver. Keats thought Forrest and River were pansy hippie names and Titus was weird; Grace though that Benjamin, Dominic, and Oliver were totally pedestrian. Keats offered to let her have her pick for the middle name, but Grace wasn't willing to be stuck with the middle name again. Finally Keats relented on Titus, since it was a Biblical name at least, as long as he got to pick the middle name and the boy was called Ty. So their son became Titus Benjamin Alexander, "Ty".Silas and Carolyn were surprised to find out they were expecting, as they had been trying not to conceive, but when they discovered they would be parents, they got married. Carolyn and Jewel had the same due date! Carolyn and Silas knew they wanted a Biblical first name, and narrowed it down to Simon, Ezra, or Jude. They thought of giving their son a virtue middle name, but didn't like any for boys; they came up with two word names they liked, Moss or cash, but ended up deciding that they would name him Simon Jude.Jonathan and Jewel were overjoyed when they discovered they were pregnant. Both love word names, especially for girls, but Jonathan wanted his daughter to have a "normal" name she could fall back on, so Jewel initially agreed to give her a second middle name, Michelle. However, they couldn't come up with a pleasing rhythm for four names, and eventually their daughter ended up being Emerald Summer Flores (Summer Michelle was a close second). With all the Em- names around, an Emmy will never be too out of place anyhow.
